We’re at war with Mother Nature.
As we say farewell to 2016, we’re wrapping up the warmest year on record, and a year in which Earth’s carbon dioxide levels have reached the point of no return. Climate change has reached a critical point, and Mother Nature is fighting back with more natural disasters, rising oceans, and mass extinction.
And, once again, we fail to take meaningful action.
This war seems endless, but it doesn’t have to be. We can redesign civilization and create a system in which humans become the solution to climate change. It’s called permaculture.
Permaculture’s principles and ethics provide a blueprint for how we can work with nature to fulfill all of our needs while improving our environment. Under a permaculture system, we’ll be able to weather natural disasters like drought and floods — and even climate change — while living in harmony with the Earth.
